While affluent individuals are spending more time navigating the Internet, they are not necessarily queuing up at Web sites operated by financial services companies.
In fact, research shows the affluent are three times more likely to use the most popular search engines than they are to visit the home pages of some of the best known financial services providers. The most popular Web site among the affluent is Yahoo, used by 15% of these individuals, followed by Google (14%) and MSN and AOL (6%).
