Affluent investors are seeking more from their financial advisors, including the choice of products from other firms and the ability to view all of their accounts on one Web site.

The wealthy believe they should be able to get whatever financial products and services they want from just one source. They also want a single point of contact for information about any of their accounts.

Research shows 68% of investors would rather have access to a wide range of products and services from one source than have to deal with multiple advisors.

Further, affluent investors favor aggregation of accounts held at multiple institutions. Research shows 60% of the wealthy would like to be able to view all of their financial investments online in one location.

The desire for account aggregation varies by age, with younger investors more eager than their older counterparts to have the ability to view all of their investments on one web site. However, even among investors who are older than 60, four out of 10 would like to have this capability.

Among those who use professionals, 64% of advisor-dependent investors and 50% of advisor-assisted investors consider this capability either important or very important.
