While one-third of the affluent are very interested in working with one firm that could meet all of their financial needs, relatively few are willing to move all of their business to that firm.

In fact, only 16% of the individuals who express interest in one-stop shopping for financial services are either likely or very likely to leave their primary financial firm to obtain that convenience.

Believing it is wise not to put all of their eggs in one basket, some affluent individuals find a measure of comfort in working with multiple firms. Most likely to express a desire not to work with just one firm are those who do not have an advisor (69%), work with three or more financial firms (60%) or are female (53%).
