Defined Contribution Assets

Defined Contribution assets totaled $4.5 trillion at the end of 2009, recovering most but not quite all of the decline seen in 2008. Assuming investment market returns are near their historic averages, Spectrem projects that DC assets will grow at average annual rate of 9% to 10% over the next five years.
